Introducing our Tag Our Tee Contest!

We need your help creating a tagline for our setup t-shirts. We'll be using these new shirts while setting up for events, working with fellow vendors, looking awesometastic around town - you get the idea!

Submit your tagline idea(s) by commenting on this post, or on our Facebook Page. Like our page and click the promotional photo. Once the photo's open, comment with your tagline idea! Submit your tagline by Friday, July 19th.

We'll pick our Top Three Favorite Taglines and you guys vote for the Ultimate Winner!

The Top Three Tags will be announced on Monday, July 22nd.

The Top Three Tags will win a fantastic Dinner for Two at one of our favorite restaurants in town - Napolatano's!! Not only is their food simply delicious - they are awesome for rehearsal dinners, wedding catering, and with their newly designed gardens, a great place for your wedding as well!

And our Ultimate Winner will receive a Complimentary Session Fee and Photo Shoot with the wonderfully talented Footstone Photography! Paul & Kristin are truly uber-talented and two of our favorite people to work with. Their images are on our list of some of our all-time favorites ever!

DIY Ribbon Streamers

One of our favorite venues here in Gainesville, Florida is the Historic Thomas Center . The gardens, architecture, and ballroom are just beautiful, and completely unique to Gainesville, making it ideal for a wedding. That being said, as a historic building, there are restrictions that go with it. One of the biggies that our couples run into frequently is the fact that you aren't allowed to throw anything - no rice, rose petals, confetti, bubbles, sparklers, etc. We have an amazingly wonderful couple getting married there at the end of the month. They wanted something to help celebrate the BIG KISS and came up with the idea for ribbon streamers for guests to wave. Being the crafty, wonderful, wedding planners that we are, we were on call to help! :) We thought we'd put up the step-by-step DIY instructions for you too! Thing's you'll need: 12 inch wooden dowels 2-3 feet of ribbon, per dowel Hot Glue and Glue Gun Sharp Scissors Start by cutting your ribbon into 2 to 3 feet
